Roller Derby is coming back to Langford!

Our 2023 season is here and WE HAVE BOUTS FOR BREAKFAST! 


The Eves of Destruction are pleased to welcome our fans to Eagle Ridge Community Centre for a special early morning double-header featuring skaters from our Junior and Hard Core programs. We kick things off with an explosive face-off of fierce competitors from the Eves of Destruction Junior Program against travelers from Vancouver Junior Roller Derby, followed by the debut of our 2023 Hard Cores duking it out again our friends from the Comox Valley, the Brick House Betties.

*Admission by donation - suggested minimum donation $5 

We have limited bleacher seating, but fans are encouraged to BYOC – bring your own chair

Accessibility details:

City Centre Park is fully wheelchair accessible.  

Parking at City Centre Park is available on a first come, first serve basis. With multiple facilities within the Park and special events happening on a regular basis you may need extra time on event dates to locate a parking space. 

Bathrooms are located within each facility during the varying hours of operation. 

BC Transit has buses 39, 46 , 58 and 65 which will drop you off on Langford Parkway adjacent to City Centre Park. Please see the BC Transit website or you can call the Langford Transit Centre, which is open 24 hours a day 250-385-2551.  

While the PHO has been lifted and masks are not required you are welcome to rock one if you wish! Please stay home if you are feeling unwell or have recently been exposed to COVID-19. If regulations change, we will post an update before the event.  

The Eves of Destruction acknowledge and thank the Lekwungen People, also as Xwsepsum (Esquimalt), Lekwungen (Songhees), Sc’ianew (Beecher Bay), and the W̱SÁNEĆ Peoples represented by the Tsartlip, Pauquachin, Tsawout, Tseycum, and Malahat Nations, for allowing us to play the sport we love, and host our events on their unceded traditional territory. We are honoured to live on this land and are working towards reconciliation, decolonization, and building relationships in our communities. We, as guests, recognize the importance of their ongoing relationships with the land that continue to this day.
